Employment

Chief and Council believe that jobs bring stability to the Ashcroft Indian Band. Economic development has brought employment opportunities into the community with the Travel Centre and Tim Hortons making up the bulk of the new jobs.

We also have community members that are employed at the Ashcroft Terminal, working with the Archeological Department on a full-time basis.

The Band hires members to do on-reserve-work-projects, like The Community Garden Project, as well as Grounds Keeping, Cooking and Cleaning for events.

We make it a top priority to actively pursue employment opportunities for our members.
